Hi there,

I am new to the site\forum.
I wanted to study violin-making in Cremona this year,
but my Italian needs improvement - so I'll start, if possible, by next year (september 2011).

My question is- what would you do until then?
I am 27, live near Europe, no experience in instrument making or playing. I have background in fine art, painting.
So, I am just open to ideas, maybe apprenticeship or shorter study somewhere, preferring Europe, UK or Australia. p.s. I haven't visited Cremona in person yet, will do. And would love to get in touch with anyone from Italy in relation to instrument making..
